Jenjarom is predominantly an agro-industrial and resource-processing area — palm oil mills, rubber processing, and seafood cold stores dominate the industrial landscape. General warehousing and logistics operations exist but are fewer than in mainstream Selangor industrial towns. The area suits businesses with agro-industrial supply chains or those needing low-cost large-plot land.
Jenjarom offers some of the lowest industrial land prices in Selangor — often 30–50% below comparable plots in Klang or Shah Alam. Built unit rentals are limited but range from RM 0.80–1.40/sqft per month for standard industrial stock. The low cost base is the primary draw for buyers requiring large plots at minimal capex.
Road infrastructure in and around Jenjarom is narrower than in established industrial towns, which can limit heavy truck movements during peak hours. TNB power supply in some parts of Jenjarom may require sub-station upgrades for heavy industrial users. Confirm utility specifications and road access widths before committing to a large logistics operation.
Jenjarom is approximately 25–40 km from Port Klang, accessible via the coastal road through Telok Panglima Garang or via KESAS from Banting. Drive times are 35–55 minutes under normal traffic. For operations with regular container collections, this is workable — but not competitive with Klang-based facilities for time-sensitive port operations.
Jenjarom is dominated by agro-industrial businesses — palm oil processing, rubber crumb, seafood cold storage, and related supply chain operations. General warehousing and light manufacturing are growing but remain secondary. The area is not suited to high-spec logistics or manufacturing requiring fast KL urban access.
Jenjarom is best suited for agro-industrial operations, large-plot manufacturing with low urban-proximity requirements, and businesses that prioritise land cost over infrastructure quality. It is not recommended for businesses needing daily same-day deliveries to KL, high-bandwidth utility supply, or access to a deep industrial services ecosystem.
Jenjarom is approximately 50–65 km from central Kuala Lumpur, accessible via KESAS or the coastal road. Under normal traffic conditions, the drive takes 50–75 minutes. This distance makes Jenjarom impractical for last-mile KL delivery operations but reasonable for national distribution operations where the overnight PLUS highway run is the primary logistics route.
